How to Use the Psychology of Marketing to Gain New Clients

Approach | Marketing Coaching Programs

We work with entrepreneurs and professional practice owners who want to make a difference in the world through social change and improving the quality of life for their clients and communities. These people are excellent in the work they do but need to grow their businesses by getting new clients.

The dilemmas these business owners face include some of the following.

  • They want new clients, but they’re not doing anything about it or they’re using effective strategies ineffectively.

  • They dislike the process of selling, and don’t realize that there are other, even more powerful, ways to attain clients.

  • They want to be seen as experts in their field, so prospects come to them, but they don’t know how to position themselves as such.

  • They’re not sure how to invest their resources to get new clients, and are wisely afraid of wasting valuable time and money.

  • They know they need to be speaking and networking, but when they’ve done so they’ve gotten no results.

  • They realize the importance of describing the value of their product or service, but they lack the confidence or communication skills to do so.

If these challenges sound familiar to you, then you’ll like this: We help business owners make the marketing process quick and easy so you can focus on what you do best, helping people.

The Goal is Simple: Get New Clients

There are a lot of companies that will help you do things like write business plans, conduct extensive market research, or create advertisements.

At Performance & Success Coaching we don’t do all of that.

We focus specifically on the strategies that we and our clients have used to achieve excellent results. How we help you get new clients and customers is simple:

First, we help you to figure out and confidently communicate the core value of what you do.

Second, we help you use one or more of these low-cost, high-impact marketing strategies:

  1. Creating strategic partnerships to generate steady flows of referrals
  2. Using internet marketing to grow your business
  3. Speaking and networking in the ways that bring in new business
  4. Position yourself as the expert by building your platform

Would you like to be seen as the expert and “go-to” person in your field?

Her solution? Achieve expert status.

Larina’s goal was for clients to learn of her work and come to her rather than the other way around. She set out to do this by:

  1. Writing- Within 2 years, Larina got 6 major book deals with publishers such as Random House, Wiley, and McGraw-Hill.

  2. Speaking- Larina is a regular on the speaking circuit.

  3. Media- Find Larina in media such as Inc., Entrepreneur, The New York Times, SELF, and The Chicago Tribune.

In the Create Your Platform and Achieve Expert Status coaching program you will learn how to do any of the following:

Develop Your Business Model:
Design the Approach and Web Strategy to Build the Business You Truly Want

Many, if not most, service business owners make the mistaken assumption that they know the business they want to be in: serving individual clients. This may or may not be the right approach for YOU and the best way to deliver your information.

They set out on building their service business only to realize years later that it isn’t the type of business they even want to be in. Or perhaps you have a solid idea of your business model but lack the strategy for implementing it on and off line.

In this 90-day program you will:

  • Complete a proprietary assessment to help you differentiate between various business models and the right one for you and your business.

  • Collaboratively decide on a model by weighing the pros and cons to various models and or integration of models.

  • Develop your online and offline strategy to optimize the use of your websites and social media and offline approaches.

  • Brand your concept to make yourself and your business memorable, create a distinct niche, and allow for higher-end products and services.

  • Create a seamless system to walk your prospects through the steps from learning about you to buying. This is known as the “product funnel.” Depending on your strategy, this may include building your mailing list and various levels of products and services.
